Rotary Batemans Bay has been involved in this project since 2012 and it is great to see it completed.  David Ashford, assisted by South Coast Pix produced a terrific video which highlighting the views and the work done by the Eurobodalla Shire Council.

This easily accessible lookout boasts fabulous views westward overlooking the beach and out to Snapper Island and northeast to the Tollgate Islands. Recently upgraded with several new viewing platforms, native gardens,

Aboriginal art and shady seating . This lookout will form the gateway to the Coastal Headlands Walking Trail, a 14.5 kilometre track that will link the headlands and beaches between Batehaven and McKenzies Beach. This project is due for completion in mid 2024.

Heading south from Batemans Bay, take Beach Road to Batehaven. Continue past the shopping centre, taking the first left turn after the traffic lights to Observation Avenue at the top of the hill. Stairs on the western side lead down to Corrigans Beach. *

Congratulations David and well done to Council for the completion of this part of the Coastal Headlands Walking Trail project costing $1.345m.
